As you prepare to go to church tomorrow and think through all the reasons you could rationalize staying home (it’s raining, kids didn’t sleep well, nothing to wear, etc) remember what a blessing it is to be able to fellowship/worship with a community of believers relatively easily. At our time of discipleship last week, everyone who came did not work that day. There are no salary Songhai so no work meant no money for that day. Six others made a mile trek to the river each morning, got in a boat, crossed the river, and then walked another couple miles to be able to fellowship with other believers and hear from God’s Word! May community with believers and the love of God’s Word be so sweet to us!
